The MacBook Neo is Apple's first new laptop line since the Air all the way back in 2008. It's designed to be a budget alternative to the more powerful MacBooks currently on the market. The lower price point is largely due to the use of an iPhone chip rather than an Apple M1 chip or beyond. Despite this change, it still runs on full macOS.
